Question:
Why do I receive the message - Unable to verify the active printer at the system level when attempting to print a report in Quicken

Solution:

Note: This issue will occur if you running on a 64 Bit operating system.


In order to print reports, follow the instructions below:



  • Generate the report
  • Modify the report if required
  • Click the Print icon
  • From the Print To field, select Quicken PDF Printer from the drop-down list
  • Make any necessary adjustments and click Print
  • Save the file in a known location on your computer (E.g. Desktop)
  • Enter a file name and click Save
  • Locate and double click on the file
  • From the File menu select Print...
  • Make any necessary adjustments and click OK
