When I try to open Reckon Accounts (formerly QuickBooks) I get an error Notification: !sz File Buffer .empty ()
To stop this error appearing you need to uninstall and reinstall Reckon Accounts (formerly QuickBooks).
QuickBooks 2008/09 and later
Clean uninstall and reinstall Reckon Accounts (fomrerly QuickBooks).
Click on the following link for full instructions on a clean uninstall and reinstall
Quickbooks 2007/08 and earlier
Delete the following two folders:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit
After deleting these folders reinstall Reckon Accounts (fomrerly QuickBooks).
You should also make Reckon Accounts (formerly QuickBooks)processes exceptions in your firewall.
